This is the main building for the school where I work. The school is situated in Borås and the name is Viskastrandsgymnasiet. At the first year in high school, the students study their basic elements, both core and specific subjects. Before the second year, students may choose which directions they want to go.
Elinor this is a great photograph and it looks like a very sturdy and older building. My colleague from this University has done quite a lot of work in Boras so i feel like I know this city.How old are the students who come to this school? How old are they when they have to choose which direction they want to go in? In Australia students can do VET subjects from when they are 16 to when they are 18 as well as the other core subjects. In this way they do not havre to choose one pathway only.

ReplyDeleteYes, the building is very old. A long time ago it was a factory that manufactured fabric.

Ulrika, the school is near the city of Borås. I really don´t know but mabye it´s about 1,5 km.
