  1. It is quite hard to learn to back a truck with a trailer. How did you teach your student to do this? I suppose there was a lot of practice that needed to be done.

  2. Yes, sometimes it´s difficult to explain how to do. A good thing is that I show them how to do and what to think about. We have a very big yard where the student can practice by themselves. The teacher is avaliable to help those students who have problems.

  5. Lasse, we have rearview camera in one of our trucks, but the only time when they use it is when they couple the trailer to the truck.

  6. Elinor there must be a lot of work to get the students skilled enough to do this backing up. What do you have to teach them before they can try it for themselves? We have rear view cameras for teaching as well and there are sometimes these cameras in cars as well.

  9. Interesting discussion in teh blog.
I understand Elinor that you are a female teacher in this business , truckdrivning that might be seen as a male business.
How many gils do you hav?
What do you do to take away male attitudes that maight be there?
    Are the girls better drivers?
