This is our workshop. Thou we are located in the factory plant of Volvocars AB we have only Volvo cars to study with. But on the bright side we study stat of the art cars. The nearest one, a S60, was produced in 2012.

  1. This workshop looks as though it is very equipped. How many cars are in the workshop at a time? Your students must be very lucky if they can work on these cars.
In Australia our students ususally have muchg older cars to work on in their first years of study.

    1. Yes we´re quit lucky i guess. We have a total of seven cars and one truck in our three workshop. But our boss wants some older cars, so far his not getting what he wants. :)

  3. We have a mixture of cars a bit like you do.Sometimes the students get to work on the state of the art cars but they learn the 'basics' on old cars and bits of cars.Cars are very complex now and we sometimes have trouble teaching our students all about the technology that is used in modern cars. How do you go about doing this teaching?

  4. We have to create our own material for modern cars. We use VIDA as a reference and make our own study questions to lead the students through the technology. It's rather challenging.
